FAITH STATEMENT
Concerning God
We believe that there is only one God, who is eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that God, the Father, is the Creator of Heaven and Earth and the Designer of the eternal plan of salvation.
We believe that God, the Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, is the Father’s only begotten Son. To complete the work of salvation, He came into the world and became flesh, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin, Mary, and represents the same essence and nature of the Father, and is uniquely God and Man. He preached Good News on Earth, healed the sick, raised the dead, and cast out demons. He is without sin, yet He was crucified and died on the cross for the sin of the world. He took the punishment for sin upon Himself so that we may enjoy peace in our hearts. By His wounds we are healed. On the third day He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father, is the head of the Church on Earth, and will return in glory and power to judge His Church and the world and establish His Kingdom on Earth.
We believe that God, the Holy Spirit, has been given to believers as an assurance of salvation and indwells every believer. He is the Comforter whom God the Father has sent to the Earth to continue the redemptive work of Christ and to glorify Christ. He empowers believers to know, understand, and walk daily in truth and to experience a sanctified life of love and service to God, His people, and the world. He is the One who continues to heal the sick, cast out demons, and perform signs and wonders and miracles on Earth today. The Holy Spirit also graciously grants the use of gifts to believers, as He wills, for the edification of the Church, the Body of Christ. The dispensation of the Church is also the dispensation of the working of the Holy Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit are essential to the building up of the Church and the consecration of Christians.
Concerning the Bible
We believe that the Bible is the only divinely inspired Word of God, and is the absolute standard for a believer’s behavior and is the only comprehensive truth, beneficial for teaching, reproof, correction, and for training in righteousness.
Concerning the Church
We believe the Church is the Household of God, the Body of Christ, the Army of God, Foundation and Pillars of Truth, the Testimony of the Kingdom of God on earth, and the Bride of Christ, consisting of every born-again Christian. God has given to the Church five fold ministries – apostles, prophets, shepherds, teachers and evangelists - for the equipping and perfecting of the saints, for the fulfilling of God’s calling and Eternal Purpose.
Concerning Mankind
We believe that Mankind was originally created in God’s own image, having the nature and image of God – a living soul, to rule and have dominion over the whole Earth. However, man was deceived by Satan, became a fallen creation as a result of sin and remains in a degenerated state, devoid of a personal relationship with God and can only be restored and justified through faith in Jesus Christ, who is Mankind’s only hope for the forgiveness of sin, eternal life, sanctification and glorification.
Concerning the Return of Christ
We believe in the imminent, glorious return of Jesus Christ to the Earth when He will judge the living and the dead through resurrection of both believers and unbelievers, with believers being granted the blessing of eternal life in union with God and unbelievers being condemned to eternal separation from God and damnation in the lake of fire.
